E.T.C. is able to deliver the following Dust Monitoring services

Air quality and dust monitoring - In addition to the requirements for LEV, the legislation also requires employers to keep dust levels as low as reasonably practicable; they must not exceed 3 mg per cubic metre when averaged over an 8 hour period (or 5 mg for softwoods). ETC can undertake air quality monitoring over daily or weekly intervals with dust levels recorded at 1 minute intervals. The report will include a graph showing the concentration over the test period along with average and maximum levels.

The VOC (Volatile organic compound) levels will also be checked during this time period and the results added to the report. (This is a frequent cause of poor air quality in school workshops where solvents and surface finishes are in regular use).
